So, let me get this straight, you’re (insert age here) many years old, and you still don’t know what’s the best underwear fit for you?! No?! Well, honestly, that’s okay, I didn’t either until the last pair of Costco underwear was torn off my body by an ex-partner of mine.
The world of underwear can be confusing – what style to wear, what brand to choose from, size differences and well, the list could continue. Let’s break it down a bit further. At Dirt Squirrel, our underwear is available in 4 specific fits: Jock-straps, Briefs, Boxer Briefs and Boxer Shorts. We have a little something for everyone so read below to see what style of underwear may be best for you!
Sizing:
Traditionally underwear is sized by your waist. This can vary from brand to brand, but traditionally most brands will follow a standard North American size (depending on where they’re from). You can check out our size guide at the bottom of any of our underwear pages under ‘sizing’. Most of our underwear is available in sizes S to 2XL (Boxer Shorts are available from S to 3XL).
Jock-straps:
Our sexy mesh Dirt Squirrel Jock-Straps are a fun piece to have in any man’s underwear drawer. Jocks are traditionally used in sport or sex, but as society progresses more and more people are wearing them day-to-day. They give the bum a little lift via the rear strap (and easy access to the rear if that’s what you’re looking for) and have a pouch on the front to secure the family jewels. Our nylon mesh jock-strap is stretchy and provides the ultimate comfort, while keeping everything where it needs to be. This underwear isn’t for the faint of heart, but for anyone willing to adventure, it’s definitely worth a shot!
Briefs:
Briefs are a snug adult version of what we wore as kids. They keep everything in place and provide a sexy, everyday wearable look. They will give the bum a little rounded lift and the front pouch does not disappoint. You will feel comfortable, yet secure. They’re good under any clothing, be it an office suit or an extravagant party outfit. They won’t show any VPL (visible panty line, duh), which is important for people with them thicccccck thighs.
Boxer Briefs:
For those who prefer to have a little more traditional or less risqué type of underwear, fear not! Boxer Briefs have been on the rise for many years. They take some of the best qualities of briefs and extend the length of the leg down the thigh. Our Dirt Squirrel Boxer Brief has a 4’ inseam, which hits around the mid-thigh. Much like their brief counterparts, they offer a snug fit to keep everything in place. They’re great for everyday wear and athletic occasions.
Boxer Shorts:
Boxer shorts are a traditional pair of underwear known by most. They’re great for lounging / sleeping and provide an overall comfort level that is unparalleled. Our Dirt Squirrel Boxer Shorts are equipped with a 2 button fly for easy use on the go and provide a little more room in the legs than the newer cuts of underwear (aka they’re not skin tight). There’s no pouch to keep everything in place either – think shorts, for under your shorts.
